Production day 11, 12, 13

The editor said the titles were not the same colour so i had to redo the font. After i helped Mel edit and caught up on blog posts

Production day 10

Today i finished the end sequence the font for the first sequence. It was difficult because it was a hard font to find but finally found it on urban font.com , we also have some sfx's.

PRODUCTION DAY 8 AND 9

Although all the filming has finished i can not start doing the title sequence until the editor has given me the screenshot to put into photoshop. I tried to find some sfx's on the internet of heavy breathing but alot of them sounded to sexual or to slow then when i did find one alot of them you have to pay for so we will be recording me running to get a realistic breathing sound. PRODUCTION DAY 7

Kaylee was back and we had one day to film everything so the pressure was on we went out to film the whole clip although it was a short time we managed to film it fluently and it looked good.

PRODUCTION DAY 6

The day after the strike Kaylee was ill so we had to film the scenes where she was not needed like the opening sequence and the kidnapping scene. We found it difficult because we kept tripping over tree stumps.
We changed between point of view and standard camera shots.

PRODUCTION DAY 5

We uploaded and put clips in order and produced our rough cut to show steve. By the end of the day we decided to scrap the whole film and start from scratch because we kept changing clothing and there was not enough detail for the film given and there was a strike on wednesday which meant we had 2 days to film.

PRODUCTION DAY 4

We got into more detailed filming and  started to plan the opening sequence which is a point of view running shot.

PRODUCTION DAY 3

We started to edit the first scene for the rough cut and see what we needed to improve on but it looked good so we decided to keep the footage to go in our film. Wee carried on acting the first scene and tried to do some more intricate camera shots.

PRODUCTION DAY 2

We tested the equipment we were using and started to do a rough copy of the first scene. We found out that the sun was ruining our shot because a ray of light was cutting into the camera so we could not see Mel so we had to get a number of camera attachments that block the sun.

Filming Session 1

For our first session planning and filming we organized a meeting with the members involved.

It helped us because we planned out the filming so we all knew what we had to do.

Although our lines changed when we acted the first part because it didn't suit the location.

The first shot we decided we would be doing a long tracking mid shot so we had to do numerous takes to get it perfect. The commentary was just a group of friends talking on the way to tent location.

Prop and Costume SHEETS

The Costume sheet is based around what people would wear while going camping and what we will be wearing during our movie clip. The General camping clothing is waterproof and warm.

The prop sheet is about what we will have during the movie clip and the general Equipment used for camping.

Location sheets

These are the 2 Main Location sheets to be used for the small movie clip we will be making.

The top picture is all about Where Mel will be trapped and dragged and the bottom is all about the tent scene.  We went around with cameras and took lots of pictures around the locations to give us a clear idea of where we will be filming.

TRAPPED opening sequences

I think this is a good opening sequence and i would like to represent mine along side it.

I like how its spooky and mysterious and it gives us a slight idea what the story will be .

We have to do a short movie clip called "TRAPPED" and i think i would use the title broken and make it trapped as it is eye catching.

TRAPPED Target audience member

In this lesson we had to plan what target audience would watch our movie i based mine around teenagers so i got a load of images based around a teenage lifestyle. I based mine around the typical teenage boy and what you would expect him to be doing, wearing, eating, and watching.
For a typical teenage boy he would be reading nuts and zoo.
They would be relatively sporty and use protein shakes. He would also be into gaming like XBOX AND PS3 and like fashion like evisu and nike airs.
The movies he would watch more thrillers and horrors with a hint of comedy.

I got sports junkie i think this is a accurate quiz becaus i spend alot of time doing sports and like cheaking up on the sports scores and i have gym equipment in my house.

MY MOOD BOARD

This was my moodboard based around the sequence my group are making called trapped.

I gathered a group of images off the internet based around the story line. Since the story line is scary i gathered mostly scary pictures also a picture of the setting and people and what they are doing so you get a basic idea what its going to be like.

TRAPPED INITIAL PLANNING GROUP 1

For the next sex weeks roughly we got put into groups this group includes Me, Mel, Beth and Kaylee.
We had to plan a short 3 - 5 minute movie clip. We got some story planning material and all wrote a story plan we then discussed the different genres and combined a bit of everyones work we went for more of a mystery genre. We are calling the sequence 'TRAPPED',

THE FINAL IDEA:!

The start:  3 Friends go camping and have a party.

The middle: One of the friends gets dragged away mysteriously.

The end: Friends disappears and nobody realized so he is trapped forever.

Over a few weeks we planned a bomb sequence around our school it was the first time playing around with moving cameras

Horror Stills

This is my horror stills we got given a still camera and then went into groups it was me, Beth, Mel and Cassie.
we started by planning out our sequence, we had to use 10 different types of shot long shot, Low angle ect.

Rosie Ball

Rosie Ball is a game artist and just finished Norwich University in june 2011.
She went to Long Road Sixth Form College and is now nominated for a BAFTA Award for the ipad game she helped create, Tick Tock Toys she first started designing this when she entered a competition for her university along with 5 other team members to represent there University in scotland along with other University's.

 Tick Tock Toys won the competition and is about a robot toy following a track and you have to move the obstacles although it sounds easy the levels get harder and harder and there is different styles like the Japanese level and Safari.

Horror Conventions

For our Horror Conventions Lesson we designed a mood board around horror.
I developed my final mood board in photoshop and searched the internet for images which stood out.
After that we had to download our own Horror fonts.
I developed mine mostly around death and AntiChrist.

I have made my final design in photoshop and got the pictures and writing from google i put them together and used a series of unique designs over the top like overlay  and dissolve

GARAGEBAND DEMO

Final cut editing session

We started by uploading pictures of New York to Final cut, and then placed them onto the movie bar to make a short video then moved the fade bars to create a unique movie clip.

NEW YORK GARAGE BAND SOUNDTRACK

In garage band we used garage band to make a soundtrack for the New York sequence. Garageband consists of thousands of music and iconic sounds and then added them together to make a soundtrack.

Vimeo ident

This is my Ident we done it in final cut,
its made up of a series of pictures and sound clips put together to make a constant put small movie clip.
I started by creating my ident in one piece on photoshop and then saved each layer as a PNG  file.
After that we inserted them into final cut.

The earth and the eye

For this task,
We had to blend the earth into an eye pupil on photoshop by shrinking it to size and overlaying it on top of the pupil.
